Our Affiliated Groups
The SCSO is more than just a symphonic performance group. It's a multi-faceted group of individuals dedicated to musical excellence and musical education.
Our mission is "to present high quality performance of orchestral music and educational outreach activities to the St. Cloud area, to encourage participation by local and area musicians, and to further the understanding and appreciation of orchestral music." To more fully realize that mission, the SCSO supports many affiliated groups.
Our affiliated groups explore diverse musical styles and groupings. They have played for weddings, fund-raisers and public gatherings of all sizes. The YOUTH Orchestra encourages the participation of local students.
