Great River Chorale
Now in its fourteenth season Great River Chorale, a 55-member community choir in St. Cloud, connects with audiences through artistic choral performances of the highest quality and exciting collaborations with guest artists from across the state. GRC's 2014-15 concert series includes A Merry Little Christmas with the Cantabile Girls' Choirs and Broadway, The Beatles & Bernstein featuring the best of American musical theater and favorite songs by the Beatles. Performances with the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra as the symphony's principal choral partner round out the season. During the tenure of artistic director Mary Kay Geston, GRC has been featured numerous times on Classical Minnesota Public Radio's Regional Spotlight, The Choral Stream, and was selected for inclusion in Classical MPR's 2013 Taste of the Holidays CD. Steve Staruch, music host on Classical MPR, has said that Great River Chorale "sings with beautiful sound and an equal mix of 'earthy/heavenly' spirit!" Please visit www.greatriverchorale.org

The SCSO is more than just a symphonic performance group. It's a multi-faceted group of individuals dedicated to musical excellence and musical education.
Our mission is "to present high quality performance of orchestral music and educational outreach activities to the St. Cloud area, to encourage participation by local and area musicians, and to further the understanding and appreciation of orchestral music." To more fully realize that mission, the SCSO supports many affiliated groups.
Our affiliated groups explore diverse musical styles and groupings. They have played for weddings, fund-raisers and public gatherings of all sizes. They are available for booking through the St Cloud Symphony Orchestra at 320-252-SCSO.
