Honors Concert
Another way we recognize outstanding young Central Minnesota musicians is through our annual Honors Concert. The St. Cloud Symphony presents a formal Honors Concert at the Paramount for a selected group of competitors. The honors concert receives billing as part of our concert series; we advertise the program in our season brochure. The selected competitors have an opportunity to display their musicianship in a formal concert atmosphere. The concert is well attended. The judges determine the participants in the honors concert by selecting participants whose musicianship displays a readiness for the formal concert setting. The participants in the honors concert are not ranked, they are selected because the judges have decided that their performances merit the honor of the concert setting.
